The council of governors and the striking clinical officers have failed to agree on a workable solution to the ongoing industrial strife. The two parties held a consultative meeting on Tuesday in which the clinicians said most of the issues raised were not adequately addressed. As Kasichana Masha reports, the clinical officers are now banking on the intervention of the national government.
