Council of Governors now admit lack of corona virus preparedness in counties

    County governments are now admitting that they lack equipment needed to handle patients in case of a full blown coronavirus outbreak. council of governor chairperson who is also the Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya said his county only has nine ventilators out of required 500 and only 300 PPE kits as opposed to recommended 1000. Oparanya made the remarks when he received a consignment of sanitizers from the Kenya Pipeline Company to distributed for free in public institutions.
