The high court in Bomet has confirmed the impeachment of Nyamira County Assembly Speaker Enock Okero and declared all actions undertaken by him unlawful. Justice Julius Ng'arng'ar in his 57-paged judgement determined that Okero ceased to hold the office of speaker of the Nyamira county assembly upon his impeachment, and that his continued stay in office was without legal basis.
