Court of appeal lifts conservatory orders baring the implementation of Finance Act 2023

It's win for the Government after the Court of Appeal temporarily lifted the High Court's Conservatory orders suspending the Finance Act 2023. The appellate court ruled that the Government has satisfied the twin principles to warrant the grant of the orders sought. In delivering it's ruling, The court noted that there will be serious irreversible economic consequences if the stay of the conservatory orders is not granted.
