The High Court has stopped the commission of inquiry appointed by President William Ruto from probing the Shakahola tragedy, pending the determination of a petition filed by the Azimio coalition. High Court judge Lawrence Mugambi says the move was not in the public interest since the senate and the police are already investigating the matter.
