The Betting Control and Licensing Board has intensified a crackdown on gambling companies as concerns over addiction and illegal operations grow. The board says it is enforcing new rules, including addiction warnings on adverts and self-exclusion options for gamblers, even as a 30-day ban on betting adverts remains in place. Five companies have already been shut down over non-compliance issues.
