Crisis looming in Ahero after floods left families homeless

A humanitarian crisis is looming in Ahero, Kisumu county after floods rendered most families homeless with roads converted to lakes. Government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura says the overflowing of river Nyando has heavily impacted the river Nyando bridge with the Nairobi - Kisii - Homabay highway becoming impassable..already 238 have died from the heavy downpour.
