CS Duale says govt has paid half of amount owed to hospital

    Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale now says the government is settling debts owed to the country's oldest missionary hospital st mary's mumias with the aim of re-opening the century old hospital. The CS speaking alongside the Kakamega Catholic Bishop Joseph Obayi, confirmed that the government owed the hospital money through both the defunct NHIF and SHA. He however says treasury has paid part of the debts and is keen to clear the balance before the facility is reopened.
