Kenya has made great strides in empowering women in all sectors through giving them financial support and leadership opportunities. Gender, Culture, Arts and Heritage Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa cited the Hustler Fund , more women have established thriving enterprises. The Cabinet Secretary has in the meantime called for concerted efforts to curb the increasing cases of Gender Based Violence in the country.
