Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has deployed 9,000 officers, the majority of them being new graduates, with immediate effect on various parts of the country. The officers, who include 6,000 police officers and 3,000 prison officers will be deployed in insecurity hot spots to combat rising crime cases in the country. The CS spoke while issuing an update of his ministry's scorecard, 100 days since he took over as the interior ministry boss.
