Agriculture cabinet secretary Mithika Linturi has now called for the arrest and jailing of the owner of SBL Innovate who he believes sold fake fertilizer to farmers through NCPB outlets countrywide while setting the record straight that government subsidy fertilizer was not fake. However, in a rejoinder, SBL's innovative owner through his lawyers has castigated Linturi for entirely casting blame on the company saying it was considered as a soft underbelly in a move to cover up the cartels involved in the fake fertilizer scandal.
