Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has steered clear of the growing debate surrounding the potential return to office of Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat, who stepped aside following investigations into the killing of Albert Ojwang. Addressing the Media in Nairobi on Monday, Murkomen declined to comment directly on the issue but promised a comprehensive statement on the state of national security on Tuesday.
