Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes, Geoffrey Ruku has unveiled a series of measures to address deep-rooted procurement irregularities within the National Youth Service. Subsequently, the CS has directed the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority PPRA to launch a comprehensive regulatory and compliance audit of all NYS procurement and disposal activities dating back to July 2019. The outcome of this audit, he said, will inform a broader policy overhaul of NYS procurement systems.
