    Women in agroecology have called on the government to implement policies that ensure women have better access to land and finances so that they can engage in agroecology more equitably. Speaking during an Africa Women Leaders in Agroecology meeting held in Kiambu County, women leaders, however, urged their peers to look for alternatives available, like land leasing, to gain access to land.
