Over the years, the great majority of humanitarian workers appeared to be protected from threats of attack but over the years, this protection seems to be fading away. the humanitarian workers also face numerous plights including harsh conditions. Nimrod Taabu now shares the experiences of three aid workers in Dadaab who have had to go for months without seeing their immediate family members in order to serve and cater for thousands of refugees at the Dadaab camp.
