Over six thousand children have been reported missing in Kenya over the last one year according to the ministry of Labour and Social Protection. Labour Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore noted that from the missing numbers only slightly above one thousand children have been re-united with their families. The worrying statistics were revealed during commemoration of the International Missing Children’s Day which is celebrated on 25th of May annually.
