The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is in the process of recruiting a special team of officers from the General Service Unit and the Anti-Stock Theft Unit, a move that will see the formation of an operations support unit. In a letter to police service commanders, DCI director Amin Mohamed has requested for officers under the age of 40 with no disciplinary record for the last three years. This as security operations to weed out criminals continued in Mombasa.
