The much-anticipated deal between the government and doctors aimed at ending the ongoing strike failed to materialize Monday, with the government now giving doctors until Tuesday to conclude their discussions, which will give a way forward to the ongoing strike. According to the head of public service Felix Koskei, the government expects doctors to sign a return to work formula on Tuesday, with negotiations having already achieved 96% of the desired outcome. This as doctors insist that the government must show goodwill to end their strike.
