The death toll from Sunday afternoon's boat tragedy in Lake Baringo has risen to seven after six bodies were retrieved from the lake Tuesday morning. The bodies were found at the shores of Kokwa Island after the boat carrying 23 high school and grade eight students capsized as it was en route to Kokwa Island for a church service. Baringo County Commissioner Stephen Kutwa says the multi-agency team retrieved the bodies around 6:30 am during the third day of the search-rescue mission.
