Defence Ministry takes over stalled Kericho stadium rehabilitation projects

The Ministry of Defence has assumed control of the rehabilitation of Kiprugut Chumo and Kapkatet stadiums in Kericho County after efforts to upgrade the facilities to international standards stalled. Kiprugut Chumo Stadium, formerly known as Kericho Green Stadium, remains in a dilapidated state amid allegations of misappropriation of millions of shillings that were spent on its initial renovation in 2023.
