Diapers waste emerging as a major threat in Kenya

Six years after Kenya banned single-use plastic bags, another environment eyesore has emerged. Diapers and sanitary pads. Due to improper disposal, landfills and estate corners are filled with pampers, raising concerns over their inability to bio-degrade and their effects on the environment. A big chunk of pampers are finding their way into water bodies, threatening aquatic life.
