Directline gets new management as Dr. Macharia appoints acting CEO, CFO

Owners of Directline Assurance have today taken over the management of the insurance firm and appointed a team of four senior officials to oversee the company's operations. Dr. S.K. Macharia, the founder of Royal Credit Limited, which holds shares at Directline, toured the company offices at Anniversary Towers and announced the managerial changes at the insurance firm. Dr. Macharia also called on EACC to probe claims of misappropriation of funds and malpractices at Directlines.
