DP Kindiki warns Gachagua over government criticism

Ahead of the united opposition’s tour of Tharaka Nithi and Meru Counties this week, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has issued a stern warning to opposition leaders, urging them to refrain from using demeaning language against the government. Speaking at Gakoromone Market in Meru town after inspecting the ongoing construction of the new Meru Level 6 Hospital, Kindiki expressed confidence in countering attempts by his predecessor, Rigathi Gachagua, to sway the vote-rich Mount Kenya region against President William Ruto ahead of the 2027 elections.
