    Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday visited Mama Grace Wahu, an 85-year-old widow in Murang'a County, whose seven sons died after consuming illicit brew. Accompanied by Murang'a Governor Irungu Kang'ata, national government administration officials, and a host of other leaders, the Deputy President pledged to intensify the government's crackdown on illegal liquor and narcotics across the country. He offered to employ Mama Wahu’s daughter Margaret Wairimu so that she could be financially empowered to take care of her elderly and sickly mother.
