DPP orders prosecution of Bomet governor and former Bungoma governor

The Director of Public Prosecutions has directed the prosecution of Bomet County Governor Hillary Barchok and former Bungoma County Governor Wycliffe Wangamati on corruption charges. The DPP also ordered further investigations into conflict of interest allegations among other charges against Governors Kimani Wamatangi of Kiambu and Mohammed Mohamud Ali of Marsabit.
