The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission has received the green light to charge former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and Embakasi North MP James Mwangi Gakuya with graft related charges. According to the EACC’s quarterly report, during his tenure the former county boss, his spouse Sharon Mirella Wakhu and county officials irregularly received 56.7 Million Shillings. Gakuya allegedly embezzled 51.3 million shillings from the Constituency Development Fund kitty.
