The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, has repossessed two prime parcels of government land in Mombasa Countty believed to have been grabbed. The parcels include a 2.5-acre parcel in Buxton, belonging to the Ministry of Housing, and an 8-acre plot in Shanzu owned by the Coast Water Works Development Agency. According to EACC CEO Twalib Mbarak, both parcels with an estimated value of 865 million shillings were reclaimed through litigation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
