Education CS Machogu says government has set aside one billion shillings to address school shortage

Education CS Ezekiel Machogu has said that the government has set aside one billion shillings to address the crisis of shortage of public schools in Nairobi County. Machogu says that the funds will be distributed among the 17 constituencies in Nairobi to address a challenge he says has derailed the government’s effort to provide quality basic education. He was speaking at an event in Kasarani constituency where the area MP Ronald Karauri revealed that the constituency has only 15 primary schools despite the surge in student population.
