Muslim faithful across the country gathered at different venues to mark Eid-ul- Adha, annual celebrations that fall on the 10th day of Dhul Hijja, the last month in the Islamic calendar. The holiday also known as feast of sacrifice is marked by prayer and sacrifice of prescribed animals in honour of the willingness of prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command. The clarion call this Eid has been unity and peaceful coexistence to reign.
