    Gender rights defenders in Busia County are decrying what they term as increased graft along the reporting chain for victims of gender based violence who are seeking justice.

    Speaking in Busia Town during a public participation exercise by the taskforce on gender based violence the activists want the government to urgently look into incidences of graft that deny victims justice. The End femicide Busia chapter coordinator Tracy Anyango from Youth Alliance for change underscored the need for government to declare femicide a national disaster to avert the alarming GBV cases.
