Environmentalists in Kericho express outrage over the wanton destruction of indigenous trees

Environmentalists in Kericho have expressed outrage over the wanton destruction of indigenous trees in Kericho East forest station, allegedly at the hands of the very person entrusted with its protection, the Kenya forest service manager. The officer has allegedly been ordering the felling of trees for charcoal burning and timber production.
