On such a day last year, a group of 23 choir members from St. Cecilia of Mercy Catholic Church in Mwingi, were on a trip from Mwingi to Nuu to attend the wedding of an elderly couple. The school bus they were travelling in plunged into the swollen river Enziu, killing 16 occupants, with only 7 survivors. Our reporter George Maringa returned to Mwingi, one year after the tragedy.
