EPRA reveals gas plant in explosion was operating illegally

At least 3 people have been confirmed dead and over 300 injured during a gas explosion incident in Embakasi area in Nairobi where it has emerged the premises were operating illegally. The government is now actively pursuing the owner of the premises as an application to acquire licenses from the energy and petroleum authority EPRA were twice last year even as more details are emerging that the proprietor of the facility was some years back arraigned in court and charged with a criminal case. Questions arise on who exactly owns the illegal lpg plant and what actions will be taken.
