Education stakeholders in the country are calling on the national and county governments to implement relevant interventions to cushion learners in remote areas from effects of the heavy rains. Speaking under the umbrella of Teach for Education a non-governmental organization, the stakeholders also underscored the disparity in the funding structure needed to put up infrastructure and employ more teachers. This comes as most schools in flood prone areas are being swept off leaving learners with no facilities as the second term close approaches.
