Experts advocate for digital literacy to combat cyber risks

As Kenya accelerates its digital transformation, cyber threats remain a major challenge, ranging from financial fraud and data breaches to child exploitation and misinformation. This is despite the country’s Tier One ranking in the Global Cybersecurity Index. According to the Communications Authority, Kenya recorded 3.5 billion cyber threats over the past financial year, with 1.5 billion attacks occurring in the last six months alone.
