Parents in Fafi constituency in Garissa county had a reason to smile after area member of parliament Salah Yakub offered free shopping for their children through the CDF as they report back to school. Due to prolonged drought that has contributed to high cost of living the parents can barely afford basic necessities and school requirements for their children. The MP has also directed school head teachers not to ask parents for school fees saying the monies is catered for in the CDF kitty.
