    Faith Kipyegon broke the women's 5000m world record at the Diamond League in Paris last night, just one week after shattering the women's 1500m world record in Florence Italy . Meanwhile, reigning Africa 100m record holder Ferdinand Omanyala clocked 9.98 seconds to finish second in the 100m men's race that was won by World 200m champion Noah Lyles in 9.97seconds.
