Family of student in Roysambu gruesome murder says killer demanded Ksh500K ransom

The family of a 20-year-old lady who was brutally murdered in an Airbnb in Roysambu has come out to shed light on the sorrowful circumstances surrounding their daughter’s untimely death. The lady who has been identified as Rita Waeni Muendo was a student at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Detectives are now tracking the IMEI number of the phone used by the suspect, with the identification process of the two suspects who had been arrested turning out to be negative.
