The Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute is sounding an alarm over increasing cases of malnutrition calling on the government to allocate funds towards nutrition sensitize agriculture. According to the institutes Chief Executive Officer David Okeyo the country loses 374 billion shillings annually in addressing malnutrition. Livestock Principal Secretary Harry Kimutai speaking during the launch of a National nutrition sensitive training package challenged farmers to invest in climate smart technologies to boost the country’s food security.
