Omanyala gets better and faster!
African and Commonwealth 100m champion Ferdinand Omanyala clocked his first sub-10 seconds on European soil, overcoming a slow start to finish second in 9.98 behind USA's 200m world champion Noah Lyles, with Botswana's junior 200m world record holder Letsile Tebogo third in 10.05. A fit Omanyala wasn't too disappointed with his night in the office and will now head home to regroup ahead of the National Championships and World Championships trials before the global competition in Budapest in August.
