The last cohort of the 46 students who managed to acquire visas in the Uasin Gishu scholarship scandal left the country last night to pursue their education after the program was shrouded with controversies. 96 more are still waiting for their visas to processed with the county government of Uasin Gishu still urging parents not to pull out of the program. the new developments come at a time when disgruntled students wrote to the president enquiring about the action he promised to undertake in the wake of the devolution conference held in the county.
