Information Communication and Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo has called for concerted efforts to help empower women economically. Owalo says economic empowerment was key to breaking the chains of retrogressive vices that continue to put the women at a disadvantaged position in the society. Owalo spoke as he officiated the official launch of the first women cooperative in the in Migori county.
