Seven more bodies have been exhumed at Kwa Binzaro village in Kilifi county, with an additional 54 body parts collected scattered across the forest. Speaking at the scene, government pathologist Richard Njoroge indicated that the bodies had not fully decomposed, with a possibility of wild animals digging up some of the shallow graves. Human rights activists have called on the government to give an assurance of protection to the locals who could give more information regarding investigations of religious extremism. 32 bodies have so far been exhumed over the last six days.
