Five people have been arrested in connection with a series of robberies in Nyamondo area of Kisii county. The five are believed to be part of a gang that has terrorised residents in the recent past by breaking into houses, schools and even churches stealing valuables. Angry residents identified the suspects and torched their houses in an incident that law enforces said should be discouraged. This even as residents who fell victim to the gang narrated the series of events that led to Friday’s public display of fury.
