Hundreds of families from three villages in Baringo North have been forced to abandon their homes as the swelling waters of Lake Baringo continue to wreak havoc in the area. The floods are now threatening to disrupt learning at Loruk Comprehensive Primary School, where more than 250 pupils risk their lives daily crossing crocodile and hippo-infested waters on a small private boat just to access education.
