Floods kill 62, Nairobi hardest hit with 33 fatalities

The death toll from last Friday's floods now stands at 62, with Nairobi recording the highest number of fatalities at 33. The Ministry of Interior says the capital is followed by the Eastern region with 17 deaths and the Rift Valley with 7. At least nine families are still searching for loved ones reportedly swept away by the raging waters that left a trail of destruction.
