Four people perish after consuming illicit brew in Migori County

Four people have died while eight others are in critical condition after consuming illicit brew in Kubweye village, Migori County. Kuria West Sub-County police report confirmed that the four including the seller, died after drinking the poisonous alcohol. Those admitted at Samjomen Private Hospital and Mabera Hospital in Migori are exhibiting sight loss, breathing, and speech difficulties. Residents are now asking the government to take stern actions against sellers and manufacturers of illicit alcohol in the area to avoid such deaths.
