Gachagua urges Judiciary to probe impeachment claims

DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has asked the Judiciary to consider claims by National Assembly Minority Leader Junet Mohamed and Lang'ata MP Felix Odiwuor, alias Jalang'o, that money changed hands to facilitate his impeachment. Speaking after receiving Nyandarua Governor Kiarie Badilisha into DCP, Gachagua insisted his removal from office was unlawful and expressed confidence in the courts. He also accused the government of intimidating leaders defecting to his party and warned of protests if the trend continues. Gatete Njoroge reports.
