Busia senator Okiya Omtatah together with Gen Z youth, have announced plans to spearhead a nationwide campaign encouraging Kenyans to reject the proposal to have ID numbers with an expiry date saying it is a way to suppress voters in the next election. The campaign seeks to have young people involved in the process of changing the nation by taking IDs that they will use to register as voters and change the governance of this country.
