A group of protesters on Monday morning stormed the office of Nyali Member of Parliament Mohamed Ali accusing him of not declaring his position on the controversial Finance Bill 2024. The protesters accused the lawmaker of not representing their interests in the National Assembly. Similar protests were witnessed in various parts of the country including Kakamega County, where a group of youth stormed an event organized by the County Woman Member of the National Assembly demanding an audience with Malava legislator Malulu Injendi whom they accuse of voting for the bill on Thursday afternoon.
